To gain experience with basic transformation properties in After Effects, I used only an Illustrator asset circle shape and 2 of the edited sound clips to create (2) :06 animations using the following guidelines: Creative use of TRAPS animation. Keys eased where appropriate. Motion blur used where necessary. Artist shows fine attention to detail in syncing audio and visual. Motion is original and innova- tive in approach. FX are used purposefully and enhance animation.

This motion media piece of focused on timing, pacing and syncing visuals with sound. Essentially, learning to edit and fade audio clips and understanding of modern shape layer techniques in After Effects. Based on an abstract and minimal design, this piece is linked to the musical notes of On Our Knees by the artist Knob (feat. R.O). Shape layer tech are employed with fine attention to detail and visual interest. Keys eased where appropriate and motion blur is used where necessary result- ing in smooth and fluid motion. Overall, the animation shows creative experimentation and purposeful control demonstrating an under- standing of shape layer techniques.
